Canberra Grammar School, ACT

Canberra Grammar has partnered with George Huitker in delivering this amazing program with Malkara School. An enthusiastic group of Year 10 students were coached and supported by George and the range of adapted games meant that none of the students needed any previous cricketing experience. Working closely with the teachers and students, both schools strengthened relationships and had lots of fun.

To quote one of our Year 10 boys: "I was really nervous beforehand having never worked with kids with disabilities. Once we showed up, all my nerves disappeared and we had the best time together. It was sad when we all had to leave."

We hope that this is the start of a regular connection each term.
