Tingha Public School, NSW

It was great to have Dream Cricket at Tingha Public School, with thanks to George & Paddy for bringing the clinic to remote, rural communities. A fun and engaging time was had by all.

Both the older and younger children enjoyed the range of activities which were tailored to their abilities, with all given the chance to succeed. All were given the chance to shine as bowlers and batters, with many consistently hitting the sticky-wicky’s middle stump or hitting the ball with vigour and accuracy! We noticed many students grow in confidence across a range of skills. It was great for the kids to take on George & Paddy at the “Run Out” game and to come out on top. But everyone was a winner on the day.

As one of the participants reflected ,“It was great to see the concentration on student’s faces as they attempted a new skill and the delight when they achieved success.” We hope to see Dream Cricket return in the summer to our town.
