Queanbeyan Public School, NSW

On Friday 3rd of November students in Supported Learning at Queanbeyan Public School had the opportunity to participate in a DreamCricket in-school Clinic run by the Rotary Club of Canberra Sunrise. The program provided students with the opportunity to learn and practise the skills of cricket in a supportive and fun environment.

Thanks to the coach, George, all the students had a such a positive experience and built upon their self-confidence. The students in K-6 Red and Green are now looking forward to taking their new found skills to the Dream Cricket Gala Day on November 17th. Here is what a few of the students who participated had to say about the event:

Kaidyn - Dream Cricket was amazing!!! I loved playing crazy catch. 

Cooper - I will definitely be going to the Gala Day. I loved to hit the as far as I could while George bowled. 

Rusten  - It was the best! I got 1000 points in batting 

Alex - The best time. I loved batting. 

Hamish - It was the best! I got 3 points in batting.
